Go into your account on your phone for the hotmail/msn inbox. Press menu > account settings . make sure email notifcations is checked . click incoming server settings and where it says delete email from server make sure it says when i delete from inbox. These are my settings on my hotmail/msn account and it perfectly syncs the Inbox.

Update after getting 2.1: Email app sucks. Both my hotmail and MSN emails are horrible. I think Google messed up so that MSN and Hotmail mail system do not work at all.

I have the setting to check for emails every 1 hr...does not work.
Sending emails - does not work

I wish Microsoft builds an email app for Android phones.

For whoever is thinking, I should use Gmail..yes, I can but my hotmail and msn are my primary email app.

Please help.
