Is there a way to stop apps from starting at boot?  I've removed unwanted apps but some I dont want to start at boot.

Any help would be appreciated.

I advanced task killer kill all apps when I boot.  I have no idea why they boot everything on restart, but they do.  If there's something you don't want to boot on startup, just kill it with a task killer if you'll still use it occasionally.  outside of that, I don't know how to stop the booting on startup.

I use a program called "startup auditor" that I got from the market for $1. Works great and won't let you disable apps that will bork the booting process.

I am learning more and more, and confident to say.

its like when your phone is ON, and you allow it go to standby, and ..... sleeps. you never turned it OFF.  So all will be dormant, still as is.

If you  fully shut down, the device will go back to the start, the way it issuposed to act, no matter what program it has a memory, and that is where One must work on  modifying this issue.

battery life.

Audio alerts

and manaully resseting aps/

I used Task killer for free 4 out of 5 stars,  no instructiosn, its free LOL

Not totally happy, will try others,  write down what I installed so I delete correct ones. and find a perfect one before I buy a APP>

the program has two icons, or widgets one is a robot with a number, how many apps are ON. under him is memory how much memory is  left, guessing SD card.

the app window scroll down to T for task killer and opens up for your controls. each individual thing you need to do to permantly shut down, ignore etc, etc.

I see that I have voice command, task killer, and a alert  I cannot find at all to shut down.  the last widget one is a  task bar. to small to realy pick each app, butshows all tht is repopping on.

so yes  its good not great, nor perfect. I like it but will see others

wow, that is a lot of stuff going on with your phone, everything that normally shows on mine is on your list, but my list is usually about 5 items.  I use advanced task killer, but the auto kill functions are greyed out, I am assuming there is a paid version to unlock them?  I just open it occasionally and kill what I don't want running, then kill ATK also, as people say their phones run like crap when they leave a TK like app running in the background auto-killing.

I have lately noticed my wife's moment slowing down a lot, and frequently reports no cell coverage when my phone shows 4 bars of EVDO. no idea what is up, but I will wait for android 2.1 before I start messing with it.
