Voice Control

I got a Moment 3 weeks ago and returned it because the voice control wouldn't work.  I would push the button, it told me to "Please Wait" and returned to the home screen.  I got a new Moment, making sure the voice control seemed to work.  The instant I sync'd with Google contacts it would no longer work. Factory reset it works. Sync with contacts it won't work.  Haven't even gotten to a point to try it with the bluetooth.  I'm a bit on the frustrated side.  Any help out there.
