The screen resolution is 480x800 for anyone wanting to make any wallpapers.
Here are some I found:

If you want to find something specific, on Google Images type "(SUBJECT HERE) imagesize:480x800"

Those wallpapers are the wrong size, my friend. Try downloading them and applying them. You're forced to crop the image.

The correct size is 640 x 480.

If anyone wants the HTC Hero wallpapers, which are very pretty, they're all available here:

Or if you'd like to download them directly to your device:

You can get some very attractive wallpapers here as well:

You MUST download the "Backgrounds" app from the market. Best wallpaper I've ever seen in one place. You'll know it the right app by the colorful pictures.

This is a pretty cool background that I tweaked from an original design by someone on the deviantART site.

Here's a link to the original artist's page.

I just changed the contrast and made the green/blue portion nearly all blue. Also increased the saturation overall to make it pop more on the Moment's great amoled screen.

Here's another wallpaper that I created from an original high res image from the hubble site.

I tweaked the color in this by turning the background all black. In the original, the background has a faint blue tint and varying degrees of very faint static.

Very nicely done. This is my background now. The dimensions are slightly off, though. 640 x 482? Sad Looks great, though.

Yeah, I noticed, but I never got around to cropping those two pixels off. Someday maybe... Wink

Nice wallpapers.  The native resolution on the moment is 320X480, I think.

Z: yes. however, you'll notice the wallpapers are NOT the resolution of the screen. The wallpaper scrolls with the apps when you switch between panels.

I take that back... it was a custom theme of mine that scrolled the wallpaper.

Just to clarify... android wallpaper is 640x480. At least that's the dimensions for all android phones 320x480 pixel resolution.

In any case, 640x480 is what we need for the Moment. The home screen shows the middle 320x480 and shifts the background to the left or right as you slide to the other panels.
