Ringtones

I have a bunch of ring tones I've made in the past for my current phone that I converted to MP3 format. I would like to upload them here or have a way of sharing them all but the forum settings limit attachments to 128kb per post. Every one of the ring tones I have is from 200kb to 500kb. I admit some rings are a little on the long side (25 to 30 seconds) but sometimes someone has a cool ring tone and you don't feel like talking to them, hahaha!

Is there any way of someone increasing this attachment limit?

If not I can host them somewhere else and provide links to them.

Just FYI I use Audacity to edit songs down to ring tone size. It's very lightweight and free.

Hmm That's unfortunate. Especially since we can upload wallpapers. It would be nice to be able to get everything in one play.

Oh well, I threw together a little list page with links to the ringtones I have made so far. Organized by Artist name. I'm using my Paper Bullet Clothing server to host them because I know it can handle the bandwidth if people want to download them.

i use an application in the market called ringdroid. just put the ringtones onto your SD card and open them in that application and then apply them as ringtones. once thats done then it will show up on the list of ringtones.

i used it when i had my g1 and then when i got the samsung moment, i inserted my memory card and voila all my ringtones were back on that list. it was like i never changed phones.

Does anyone know of a way to assign ringtones to the groups in your contacts list? I have exhausted my knowledge of where to look on this phone...

Also does anyone know how to assign different ringtones to different notifications? For example one for email, one for texts and one for phone functions and not having all of them use the one set as the default.
