Interesting that in settings the Battery percentage has been removed...

Battery Widget still gets a percentage though.

I installed zefie's cl14 today. Had zero issues and took all of about 5 minutes (Sorry for those of you that had to wait for hours at the Sprint store!)

* I haven't tested the 911 emergency call button, but based on previous posts, I will assume that is fixed!
* typing on the keyboard is MUCH improved
*touch screen seems faster

I also decided to see if just maybe it fixed my bluetooth issues - most notably the inability to use voice recognition to dial.  Much to my amazement, as soon as I pushed the BT button on my car (2010 Prius), I was greeted by a voice "Say a command!". It worked!!!  That in and of itself was worth the upgrade!

A side note - when I dial my voicemail number, or the sprint navigation telephone number, the phone never completes the call, but instead refuses to cancel the call.  The only way I have found to clear the call is to remove the battery.  These are the only two numbers I have found issue with so far.

Flashed the phone with ze09.2 SPH-M900_CL14_WORKING_SYSTEM_ONLY and SPH-M900_CL14_CDMA-ONLY last night everything is working just fine so far other than google voice force closing just after staring the system. Pandora is workng great now the lag it tended to have when just playing without using the phone is gone and the lag time it had when changing layout mode is a lot shorter now. Noticed that the trackpad is working much better as well and that the keyboard doesn't have a noticeable lag anymore. I was showing in the deep south (Antarctica) before i did the cdma flash but after it is showing within a mile of my location with gps turned off and wifi turned on or off. With gps turned on its right on target the gps also get a fix 20x faster now. Have been noticing some display glitches every so often a line flashes on the screen is this being caused by the video driver thought it was just in movies that this happened. Finaly my battery doesnt seem to want to get above 95% charged not sure whats causing that might have to shut the phone down and try charging with it off. Otherwise thanks for the updates they have made the phone much more usable.

The 95% thing is just a visual issue, trust me, it is charging to 100%, something is messing with our battery code in CL14, so don't pay any mind to that.

Has anyone figured out a definate answer to what is causing the lines flashing on the screen?  I searched but have only seen that the video driver is a theory.. any concrete answers on that yet?

no at this point it is still a theory because every phone seems to have varying degrees of glitching. So far there hasnt been any reports of it actually hurting the phone tho.

im not the expert but i know the glitches are caused by the graphics driver zefie uses in his kernel which increases performance but has the slight glitches.
if you dont like the trade off of increased performance for slight glitches on the screen, i think ZE7.x kernels had the older graphics drivers which are slower but dont have any glitches.

Im checking with dub to see if he is still making releases with the stock drivers

This is still experimental so use at own risk:

Just giving respect where respect is due. Zefie seems to be the man...er...wom....er...whatever. Being a Sprint rep, I went to our tech store for the update today, and only 1 of the 3 tech stores in our area actually had capability of installing and was sweating while 5 Moments stacked up in front of him and he couldn't get it to work after 5 hours. LOL Why is he making more than me again? what a tool. While I'm new to Android, and haven't got up the nerve to jump and just do it, I had alot of experience in custom FW's on my iPxxxx. I'm almost ready to pop the cherry. I think I found my home here....  Cheesy

Installed CL14 system and modem yesterday afternoon. Thus far absolutely no issues. However the AGPS still doesn't seem to be working properly - apparently I'm in Lithuania right now. I'll send you all postcards  Grin

Not a big deal, regular GPS works fine for now.

I haven't seen anybody with CL14 system, modem and a Ze* kernel still not having their aGPS work. Do you have use wireless locations checked in the security & locations section of the settings?

I did enable it. Upon enabling it seemed to work fine. I hadn't really played with it too much until this morning when I went into google maps and noticed that I was suddenly on my Lithuanian vacation. I disabled agps, verified again that the baseband version was CL14, then re-enabled agps. Once again it placed me squarely in the US. I've been checking it periodically since and it's been correct so maybe it was just a fluke? Not sure.

PS: Running ZE92 (original, not the no-lines kernel), CL14 Modem and CL14 system
