Sigh.. It has been explained multiple times.. but one more time.. With the phone off Hold Volume down and the camera button then hit and hold the power button... you should go into a downloader mode.. I think the magnometer is actually working pretty accurate now.. it is a lot smoother as a compass atlleast.. no idea if it is accurate or not until the morning but just noticed in the compass app it is tracking very smoothly.. Like Root File Explorer sees it has root, and offers to remount, but cannot since it is looking for mtd devices. and as for recovery, what info do you want? VolDown+Call+Power...
