Overclocking Kernel

I was just wondering where we stand as far as overclocking is concerned. I know that Zefie decided to remove the overclocking "stuff" from his recent kernels. Is that it? Is it not worth it/practical/dangerous? If not, can we expect it in any future releases? I'll be honest and say that I did't notice any type of performance boost whatsoever, but that might have something to do with me not doing something right. Let us know Zefie! Thanks in advance.

Thats exactly it... there was no performance boost. It said it was overclocking.. but it wasn't really.

it just looked like it was coz the clock was running slower so it made it think the operations were performed faster
