It says "Unknown USB Device" under USB Controllers

i have a vista machine and 2 xp machines. the vista machine didnt work at first so i skipped it and have been able to flash my phone on both my xp machines. they seem pretty easy to setup.
install samsung pc studio - make sure its set it not load at startup in the settings then close it.
restart the computer
put the phone in download mode, then plug into the computer. it'll ask for drivers and point it to the folder mentioned earlier, c/program files/samsung/pc studio 3/usb drivers/3 and it loads the drivers.
i've done it twice now on two completely different computers and it has worked.

I do not have USB 2.0.  It says device would perform faster with USB 2.0

yeah just the card reverts back to whatever usb standard your hardware uses (AKA really slow)

so the slow usb port wont let the phone be recognized in DL mode???
