http://ca.sys-con.com/node/1236126    I know people might get tired of me posting these type things.  But in a world of unfair tech reviews, I'm always happy to see something possitive about what I consider one of the best phones on the market!

This is great to see!

This phone is one of the most underrated Android handsets due to Sprint giving almost all marketing efforts to their partner from Taiwan. The more visibility it gets, the more support it will receive from the development community.

Nice find  Smiley

Should Sprint decide to go nationwide with the technology, yes it does mean that current Moment users will have to get an upgrade. This probably will not come into fruition with the current Moment model though. More than likely with another device down the line. On the upside, it is nice to see these current phones (although modded with the tuner) being recognized for what's already under the hood.

So when is Samsung going to get a newer OS version so I can download my favorite APPS that require a higher version of OS?  SPRINT says it is not their fault and tells me to call Samsung?  When?  I would like to know?  Anybody out there?  Right now I wish I could replace my phone for an HTC or a VZ or Tmobile phone so i can use my phone what I bought it for.... the apps.

@jtallman: Calm down and either read this forum some more or educate yourself elsewhere as to how this whole ecosystem works. Your carrier and your manufacturer have no responsibility to deliver you software updates, or for that matter, applications -- we're very gracious that they do, but they do it on their schedule at their convenience. 2.0+ Apps are not a right.

Your phone was sold as-is with the 1.5 Firmware, and you were told from the start that you would have access to all the apps in the android marketplace supported by firmware 1.5. Next time you buy a phone "just for the apps", as you state, maybe you should check and see that the apps you want are supported by your phone.
