This is the worst phone I have EVER owned.  I wish I could take it back and get my money back.  I heard Android is the best and I selected this phone b/c I needed the slideout keyboard with fingernails.  Constant loss of service, slow internet, slow everything, batter life sucks, no notification of text messages, when sending a text message the recipient gets it either several times or all out of order, phone will not connect to any computer.........the list goes on and on and on.  I wonder if anyone is even monitoring this site to see this feedback!  I hate this phone and from what I have seen on this site, I am not alone and the other complaints are with the same issues as mine.

there are plenty of people that complain about this phone.....but you can also get that with ALL phones....me personally i am happy with my moment

out of curiosity is your phone up to date?? as in looking at the "about phone" section does it say DJ07 anywhere on that screen??

p.s. i monitor this site quite a bit and try to help everyone with questions that i can or direct them to help

Thank you for your reply.  No, it does not have DJ07 anywhere on the "About Phone" screen.

"Constant loss of service" = known defect, Sprint can either swap your phone with an Intercept or Transform or move your upgrade up so you could purchase an Epic.

"Slow internet, slow everything" = sounds as though you need a software update.  the phone is not a speed demon, but it is far from low end.

"Battery life sucks" = software update + "Auto Memory Manager" = at least a whole day of battery.

"No notification of text messages" = if you're using the stock "Messaging" app, go to the "All Messages" screen, press "Menu", "Settings", and check that the "Notification" settings are to your liking.  (if you're using Handcent, ChompSMS, or another 3rd party app, i don't know how they work)  if all of the settings are right, stop by a Sprint store and you probably have a defective phone.

"When sending a text message the recipient gets it either several times or all out of order" = i have never experienced or heard of that issue.

"Phone will not connect to any computer" = you need the drivers, they are available on this site.  like any peripheral add on to a computer, drivers are needed.  it's a shame samsung didn't put them in the phone, but that's life.

I agree! This is the worst phone ever. It was glitchy before the upgrade to the os 2.1, now it is horrible. The best improvement Samsung could make whould be easier access to the battery for the 30 or so times you have to yank it a day.n It's slow, it locks up constantly. I will never buy a Samsung phone ever again.

You did not say on what date you bought this SPH-M900; what do you mean by; “I selected this phone b/c I needed the slideout keyboard with fingernails."?  You complained about everything, then continued by saying; ".........the list goes on and on and on."

No cell phone of any make can be that bad, which tells me you are on the side of the competition.  Straight-up, since all phones are sold with the express knowledge that the unit is under warranty and should be returned if its performance is not up to expectation as claimed by the vendor.  Imagine, such a handsome couple — making-up such a horrible story about a great product.

"from what I have seen on this site"  [I haven't learnt anything;] that is what you should have add to your comments.  Spy?Huh

The keyocera strobe was the the worst phone I have ever owned, then the sidekick 3, Id say the Samsung moment would be the third worst for me.

I am struggling with this phone too.  At first it was fantastic but now it drops calls or calls people on it's own.  The GPS keeps freezing and I need to take out the battery and restart the whole phone.  It's now slow and eats the battery (I know smartphones eat batteries but this is REALLY bad).  It's like suddenly something happened that made this phone horrible.  I LOVE Sprint's service.  I have been thrilled with the service and coverage, but I just don't know what to do.  I'm not eligible for an upgrade soon but I can barely use my phone since it drops calls or calls the wrong person or when I click on an app it pulls up another completely different app!

Any advice?!?  HELP!
