Greetings members, last weekend I took the plunge and followed Pat Pascale’s easy to follow YOUTUBE video; “How to Update Your Samsung Moment to Android 2.2 Froyo.”

http://forum.sdx-developers.com/moment-android-2-2/I had already downloaded the zip file, so Froyo 2.2 was installed with-in his prescribed time. There is no need to mention how happy I was to see the big SDX with HANSUNG written under it, and then DL05 Beta 5 — I was good to go! What I liked about it-it was fast; I got more apps on the Android Market than the DJ07, and the option of having two landscapes. However, with all the fun that I was having; I got greedy and wanted more. So, I opted to advance to DL05 Beta 6. The Beta 5 ROM .zip file I used dated December 24 2010, and so, I wanted to replace that zip file with the March 20, 2011 SDX version Beta 6. But, I SOFT BRICKED my SPH-M900. All I got was a black screen, and the phone vibrated constantly; all is not lost though, because I can re-download DE03 and it does work, except any system update will always result in the following message in RECOVERY Mode:
Finding update package…
Opening update package…
Verifying update package…
Installing update…
E:Error in /cache/7e8eb349633b.update_M900_DE03_to_DI06.zip (Status 2)
Installation aborted.NOW, my problem is, I don’t understand what the message is saying, neither exactly HOW to solve it.
I would appreciate any and all the help I can get in my dilemma. Thanks a million.
