What's the standard battery life of the one that comes with the phone?  Is there a different battery that I can buy with a longer life?  It doesn't seem like my battery lasts that long (usually have to recharge at end of day).  I'm not a heavy phone user so I'm not sure what's draining my battery.  Does anyone have any thoughts?

Search here and at sdx-developers.com.  There are some great guides to extending battery life.  Download Avandced Task Killer Free from the market so you can see what's running and kill programs you don't need.  I'd give you some links but I'm on my phone.

I just set it up not to run on it's own and just run it when I reboot.  Kill everything you don't need including ATK and your golden.

When I upgraded to 2.1 my battery life extended by an amazing amount.  I was just about to get another phone because I had to charge my phone like 3 or 4 times a day and when I upgraded VOILA now I love this phone.

A coulple other things:  if you don't use bluetooth, turn it off.  When inside a building, if you don't need GPS, also turn it off.

For whatever it's worth ;-)
