downloaded this, but in the bottom corner of PC Studio it still says not connected.  what am i doing wrong?

Sorry need to update this thread, it is no longer necessary to install samsung pc studio, just get the linked zip file extract and use those drivers when prompted by windows

I did the following steps after being stumped by this issue for a while...
  • install the drivers from the links suggested
  • turn on USB Debugging in Settings > applications > development
  • connect the phone via USB to your computer (don't worry, it likely won't work at this point)
  • Reboot the phone -- in the reboot process, Vista told me it was installing new hardware

Once that was complete, I was able to see the USB notification on the phone's notification bar, mount the USB, and copy away.

I did the same without downloading anything extra and it worked on my Mac running 10.5.8

It means it's been too long and was taken down. I don't have a copy or i'd re-upload it. I'm sure someone else will soon, but if you're in a hurry you can always just install the whole samsung new pc studio. Actually, someone already uploaded them.
