Must have ZE10.2 and up in order to use Theme.zip First thing you must do is download the enclosed
”C14_theme_template.zip” and place one copy on your phones SDcard and another in a place you will remember on your computer(you can use this zip to create your own themes, but that is for another post) If not making your own theme you can download one of the ready made ones posted here or at
sdx-developers-themes open(not decompress) with 7zip or winrar and navigate to /system/app and delete any of the Sprint programs that you do not want re-added to your phone then put the theme.zip on your sdcard
(make sure these zips are on the root(not within a folder) of the sdcard) Theme.zip methodNext boot your phone into Recovery Mode (volume down>call>end call and hold until recovery menu loads) and find the three following options:
Clear Dalvik cache(post maxdamage recovery 2.0 located in Data options)
Apply (any) zip from sd
reboot system now
1) Scroll to the
“Clear Dalvik Cache” option and select it and press the home key to confirm.
2) Once complete scroll to the option
“Apply from any zip from SD” and find the
”CL14_theme_template.zip” and select it and hit the home key to confirm.
3) You will now see it applying the zip.
4) Once this is complete scroll to the reboot phone option
“reboot system now” and select,
Phone will now reboot keep in mind that this first reboot will take a while (up to 5 min).
4) Once your phone is fully booted back up into android turn your phone back off and reboot into Recovery Mode using the same method as above.
5)Once back into recovery clear Dalvik cache again.
6)After that is complete go back to select your new theme.zip and apply.
7)Once done applying reboot your phone (again this will take take a while again)
once back into android BAMM your new theme should now be applied. If not you may want to make sure that you have a clean theme.zip and clear dalvik cache and try again.
Trouble shooting If on the first boot into the new theme the screen hangs., either stuck on what is considered a "boot loop" or just a black screen. It has been reported that sounds from service connection will go off as well as being able to bring down the notification bar. a simple reboot will solve the problem.
This is a most complete guide to the best of my abilities as a writer. If there are errors please let me know and I will correct or clarify.
Happy themeing
