how can you get a line break when texting?  So I can do something like this

9
8
7
6

instead of 10 9 8 7 6

tried that... when I hit enter it sends the text, it doesn't line break

Only thing I would know to do would be to space it out where it ended up like that.  That would be ridiculously hard I know, but that's all I can think of.

haven't tried it, but on some phones either "Fn + Space" or "Shift + Space" does that...

Download ChompSMS, go into settings, uncheck "send messages with enter", and then just hit enter to do that.

[fn]+[xtap] at where you want to break the text? it makes a weird gap worth about 1-3 spaces...
uhh i just sent my guy a text and it showed up like this
Me: testing testing. did this text arrive in one line or break for the second sentence?
so im guessing it doesnt work :x
but its 12:39am, i doubt  ill get a reply soon.

F***, i really want to know about this now lol

edit: ill just do what the above post suggests in the meanwhile heh

handcent lets you press enter for a new line too.
