i've downloaded a few different task managaers/killers
stuck with free advanced task killer
my question is how to stop and KEEP them stopped.....
i click on the manager everytime i pick up the phone and sure enough theres all kinds of crap still running...its like a never ending cycle.
why in the love of god is
Navi pop up from time to time
alarm clock....
that voice control
moxier mail
just to name a few

If i could just delete half of these off the phone i would

repeated and dupp'd topic;

 you have  Apps that must be ran,  all the time , period. the phone can run, yes without them. but Sprint / Samsung wrote the Firmware / hardware.

they are designated 24/7/365.4 reason why it is a smart phone or google phone,

as fish stated there are multiple threads on this topic....

in short its like he said most apps rely on each other from time to time and thats why they will run....

as far as deleting the apps you can do so once you root the phone but removing some apps will have adverse effects....see the following link
