My old phone is a Motorola Razr and I have LOTS of phone numbers on it but I don't have a data cable to transfer my phone numbers from it to my  computer to then try to transfer them to my Moment. If I wanted, would there be a way to use my google account to just enter my numbers manually on the computer and then transfer them to my Moment with that account? This may not even be possible but doesn't hurt to ask  Smiley

That's not only possible, but the best way to enter them. All gMail contacts auto-sync with the moment, and the moment's contacts will auto-sync with gMail. For more information, check out the guide-site at

yes add all your contacts to your gmail account.  that's definitely the best way.  once they're all added, go to your contacts on your phone and hit menu>edit sync groups.  uncheck "sync all contacts" and check "My Contacts" and "Starred in Android".  boom roasted.

Thanks guys! I took a look at that exact link the other day but wasn't sure if that was what I needed. I see now how easy it is other than the fact I have to enter all my contacts by hand on my gmail account. But at least it syncs them to my phone immediately. Pretty darn cool! I do have another question though. My gmail account is new and I've only emailed one person with it so far and of course they show up in my contacts on my phone but I don't want them to but I do want to keep the contact in my gmail account. Do I just delete it from my phone?

I'm not familiar with the RAZR, but if it has bluetooth you could bluetooth the numbers to your Moment and then have your Moment sync with your GMail.  Then organize from there.  No manual entry of anything.  That's what I did with my Instinct.

That was my original plan but for some reason the stupid bluetooth quit working on my computer so I've been trying to get that fixed  Roll Eyes.

the easiest way, take both phones to your sprint store and have them sync them up. Takes only 5 minutes

I asked them. They said they couldn't for some reason. I think they just didn't want the hassle.

I used "Sprite Migrate" to transfer contacts from my Windows Mobile device.
