How do I move widgets/shortcuts from one "Home Screen" view to another?

The girl at Sprint went over my Samsung Moment's features in the blink of an eye. I know how to add shortcuts/widgets/folders to my "Home Screen." However, when I'm on the Home Screen, I can scroll left & right for 2 other home screen views. When I add shortcuts, etc., how do I put them in the home screen view where I want them? Also, how do I rearrange (change position of) the items in the home screen display (move widgets up, folders down, etc.)?

Press and hold on the widget. You should then be able to drag it around the screen. Drag it to the edge of the screen to move it to the next home screen. Also, if you want to remove it then drag it over the launcher icon at the bottom(it will turn into a trash can) and release. This only removes the widget/shortcut from the home screen and does not uninstall it from the system.
