This is the most annoying things that I've dealt with since day one, right up there with the darn radio losing signal and forcing me to reset.  What is the BENEFIT of shutting the music off after I remove the cord from the headphone jack?  How do I bypass this so it'll just resort to the speaker on the phone like it should have from day one?

So is no one replying because they're not interested or because it's already been discussed and solved.  If there is a solution, I'm an avid person of searching before posting, so please let me know what keywords I need to use because I couldn't find a thread about it.

Everytime I unplug the headphone jack, the music will resort to the rear speaker for about half a second or so, enough for me to know what it's wht I was listening to.  Seems like it's just a flip of a software switch.  This is the 1st Moment forum I joined, but should I be posting software tweak topics like this over on SDX instead?  I'm suprised no one else is annoyed by this, especially since it shuts down the streaming app in the process...still seems pointless to me.

When I unplug my headset jack, the music continues to play but on the rear speaker until I stop or pause it. I have tried a few things to re-create what is happening to you, but mine seems to work fine.

This forum does not answer 24/7 weekends  its a ghost town at times.......

and not all who own a moment are in here 99% do not know this exist.

Using your device in settings:

NOTIFICATIONS; runs usb port, head set port, sms txt, and a few more

Application or phone etc.....  plugged in head set if bluetooth or wired, bypasses speaker and works, Plays Notification

unplugging plays notification and bypasses headset and runs through speaker.

You are running what application Please?Huh?

when you lose a signal, data the Application is forced to crash, forcing you to reset, shut off the app, and start over.

I use Iheart radio I open it, and at times I have to close down,

I guess no one wants to respond to your inquerry  because   when you close a app  you have to stop  play. on that particular program

Example Music player  open music, play song to shut down hit play and then home. by placing/removing  headset, you'll not force clousure of sound or app, you'll hear music and notifications

No offense, I'm just not understanding what you're saying.  Either way, I'm hoping there is a way to fix it.
