Well, thus far, I've not been able to set up my main e-mail account.

I have a gmail account that set up fine. However, I have another e-mail account, which goes through GoDaddy.com, that I simply cannot set up. I went to the Sprint store where I bought the phone, and the salesgal couldn't get it set up, either.

I tried setting it up with both POP3 and IMAP (I have no idea which one is the correct choice) but, given my woefully inadequate knowledge of most things technical, it continues to kick my butt.

It's not necessarily a deal breaker, but I'd really like to have it.

If anyone can offer up some solutions or suggestions, you'll be my new best friend.

Thanks...

Hello new here, first off thank for all the great info. I too was having trouble setting up my Yahoo accounts, the folks at Sprint said I would have to upgrade to the paid Yahoo. Didn't need to on my Samsung Rant. This thread solved my problems. Do have one question, why will it not take when I set up a 'ssl"?

There is a fix for Yahoo.  You must change your location on yahoo.com IF YOUR ON 1.5 ONLY!!!!
If your on 2.1 Yahoo should work automatically. Anyways here is the link to the instructions(credit to android forums Wink!):
