I searched 1st and could not find an answer........

I get stupid text messages from friends from time to time but its getn out of hand lately. Yes I asked not to get anymore from them but like all good friends do they feel the need to send the fattest women doing things I dont care to see.....I know thats the point of these texts but like I said, its getn annoying. I found an app (GBlocker)but it stated its for 1.6 and above (maybe we should send these texts to sprint officials untill we get 2.1).

Anyone have an idea to block numbers or text messages?

Chompsms and Handcent both offer the ability to block senders.  You wouldn't get anything they sent you though.

I'm using Chomp right now, but i've used handcent as well.  There really isn't much difference, imo.  I'm pretty sure Hokansoc mentions Chompsms in his guide.

I believe  right at your fingertips, of txt block@ sprintpcs.com

sprint homepage, brings you to cotrol manager etc, and where you're allowed to text etc, you'll se towrds the left side, (from memory) you'll look for what you're after, without Dl apps.

I use Handcent and you can add people to the black list, you still receive the text but you don't get notified you are receiving them (in which I like this feature for those annoying texters but sometimes do send important info)
