Can anyone reccomend a widget that has a digital clock and weather similar to the Hero.
Unrelated: does anyone know if this phone is multi-touch capable?

Try beautiful widgets.  It's similar to the hero's, though definitely not as much since the c&d from HTC.

I use a program called Weather Widget it's about $3 on Android Market.  It looks EXACTLY like the HTC widget.

I used to use Weather Widget (it does have some nice skins and customization options like the transparency), but I recently started using this one:

http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.fancywidget.android

Its very clean and pretty much a dead up knock off of the Sense version. Downside is the lack of flip animation, but Weather Widget doesn't actually flip either so meh.

I still use the toggle from Weather Widget for silencing my phone. The glass skin set for the toggles is very nice.

Hi all,
I've tried both, and I have to say that fancy widget seems to work
better only because weather widget seems to need a signal connection to keep the clock set at the right time. ( only because while Im at work I get no cell service in the building). If I use the widget to check the time, its set about the time I walked into work.
Fancy widget seems to use the phones clock.
thats what I have

That's odd, I haven't had issues with either of them. Are you on 2.1, and have you excluded weather widget from any task killer you may have? I've also noticed that it freezes whenever I download an update, at which point you just throw the widget out from your home screen and then reapply it. This happens often enough, though, because the dev updates often, and its not something I consider to be an issue since that happens with a lot of my more complex widgets, like Pure Messenger.
