I've been trying both navigation apps to see which is better. So far neither is even working so for now I'm gonna say they are both crap. With 1.5, Sprint Nav always worked fine for me. Now with 2.1 I can't even get it to work and everyone says Google's is better but it's just as bad as Sprint's for me at the moment.
I entered my locations in Sprint Nav and it sat there literally for 9 minutes searching for a GPS signal which it never could find.
I entered the same info into Google Nav and after 7 minutes "Waiting for location" I gave up even trying. Not to mention when I entered the addresses it was off by 16 miles and about 37 minutes. What the hell?
I know I'm not the only one who has had problems with either of these apps but has anyone besides me not been able to even get locked in on a location?

of all the GPS issue threads you had to create another one??

i have an issue about 1-10 uses but thats it.....all i can say is try a battery pull, update data profile, and make sure your in a clear area with full signal.....still not working then go to a sprint store and show them in their face!  Angry

They've seen my  Angry face enough times already, lol! I tried all the things you suggested but at the time it still didn't help. Although, I tried it the next day and it was working - slowly but at least it was working. Quite a bit slower than on 1.5.
