I have been through multiple hours of tech "help" with Sprint, and no one has been able to get my Sprint Nav working since I upgraded to 2.1. It worked fine on 1.5. There is some sort of software bug that they either don't acknowledge, or won' fix. I would really like a solution.

Google Nav works, but I like the layout and functionality of Sprint Nav. Besides, I paid for the phone to work properly, and I expect all aspects and apps to work the way they were designed to work. A software glitch needs to be corrected and acknowledged by the manugacturer.
I have been through all og their troubleshooting and even reinstalled the program, but still nothing.

no offense but if you feel there should be no "glitches" with your phone you should probably return the samsung moment NOW before you become highly irritated.....on topic the only thing i can say is to reflash the entire phone, or take it directly to a sprint store and have them troubleshoot it

I am actually quite happy with this phone, other than this 1 issues with the new os 'upgrade'. Honestly, I don't expect there never to be glitches or flaws. Software and code are written by humans, and none of us is perfect, therefore, what we create will not be perfect. What I do expect is for the person/company that publishes the software updates to acknowledge, troubleshoot and repair the problems so that the problem will go away. From my experience, the android os is far superior to the windows os, and overall is a more stable and reliable os. The last 'guidance' I received from sprint was to go online and install the update with cj in the title, upon further research on the Samsung (I believe) website, this was released prior to Android 2.1, so I would be going backwards to go forward. I might just do that and see what happens. I am on my first replacement phone, which came with 2.1 already installed, so if that doesn't work, I may just send back the replacement and keep the original, or maybe reflash this 1 with 2.1 and see what happens there. I will troubleshoot more and hopefully come up with a solution everyone can use and post results of my efforts for everyone's benefit.

Anybody have any updates on this???  I've got the 2.1 update, and downloaded the  above link...  and still nothing.  My GPS used to work (although spotty, but did work) before the eclair update.  My GPS just won't get a lock using the Sprint Nav software.  I've tried using the google maps, but it's just not as user friendly ans honestly not sure if it really gets a lock at all.  Went up the ranks at Sprint 800 help line, and the end result with them is to take it into a store so a tech can get some hands on it.  Has anyone done this yet either?  Thanks!
