looking for a good kernal

I belive the correct term is kernal but anyway I am looking for a custom kernal that has the sprint bloatware taken off and with wifi hotspot (tethering) and apps2sd. Has anyone found a kernal that is stable and quick with good battery life. Everytime i read up on one there is always complaints about something or they start talking in linux jargon that i just plain dont understand. Just wondering if someone has suggestions. Thanks Cool

i would recomend going to this thread http://forum.sdx-developers.com/roms/(kitchen)-new-location-and-ui-for-online-rom-builder/

and reading and then use the kitchen to build your rom how you would like it....
