Has anyone found a good application that will allow you to either password protect certain people messaging you, or require a password to get into text messages?

I ask only b/c people are going to want to look at my new phone, but I don't necessarily wanting them snooping through my text messages.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Thank you for the great reply, but I am aware that I can tell people no.  But telling your friends no that want to look at your new phone is rude in my opinion.  And why does it have to be shady?  Why can't I just enjoy my privacy w/o wanting to share it with people?

I'm pretty sure there's an app available for that.  I'm pretty sure I saw one while browsing on androlib the other night.

Its shady because i know i have nothing in my phone that i dont care if my friends or any of my family see
Therefore if you feel this way you either are txting shady stuff or need to reevaluate your circle of friends
maybe its just me, i dont know

Thank you Z.  I will check that out.

m3ander3 - That is how you feel.  But your definition of "shady" is your opinion, not mine.  So since we differ in opinion of how we want people to be able to view our text messages, it would be nice if you would just answer my original question, or abstain from replying.  I cannot be the only one that would like to find an answer to something without having the topic take a radical turn into what you believe is shady or not.

I wouldnt mind locking my text messages as well. My 8yr old daughter plays games on my phone alot and I dont want her reading my incoming text, I dont care what the text say its none of her business.

No worries m3ander3.

I looked on androlib, but did not find what I was really looking for.  There are several things that are close, but most people say they are crap or cause the phone problems.

I take it no one else has come across anything that will allow one to do this?
