mine does that now also. Its an update made to chomp sms.

which text app are you using?? stock or an aftermarket one??

you need to look for something like "sent notification"

if it is the stock messaging app then "sent notification" does not even exist so there is something else going on and in the long run you will probably need to restore the phone to correct it if you dont recall any apps being installed that could cause an issue with "notifications"

i use handcent sms and the setting is under "settings" > "Sent notifications"
