I just reset my moment for the first time because the battery life has been poor.  I made sure the latest firmware was CL14 and reset the phone.  It rebooted and now it won't go past the pulsing Samsung logo.  I tried pulling the battery and pressing Vol. Down, Call, and Power on at the same time and resetting it from there but it still won't boot past the logo.  It shows the initial Samsung logo and progress bar, goes to the yellow Sprint logo, then the other Samsung logo pops up and loops indefinitely.  Anyone have a suggestion or is it toast?  Haven't had it even 2 months now.

Have you ran diagnostic on the phone yet?
You can do this by powering off the phone and then pressing all at the same time:
green phone + middle mouse pad + red phone
until the phone powers on.

Use the mouse pad to navigate each selection and  press on the mouse to test each of the phones components.

That should be able to tell you if its a hardware issue or software.

The Sound Test causes it to freeze.  Everything else works great.  I'm guessing somehow the sound file was corrupted and it is unable to play it so it keeps looping?  Any other ideas?

You can try reloading the OS, I have instructions for loading the CL14 update listed here
http://www.dreamingisdigital.com/android/hacks/81-samsung-moment-upgrade-from-cj05-to-cj14.html.
This is the official release.

Other than that you could always take the phone to a sprint store and have them break i mean fix the phone.

Gee I remember someone else having this issue, oh wait it was me. LOL
wish I would have known about the reinstall, if you recall the tech at the
Sprint store told me it was the magnetic flap on my case that caused a corrupt file.
Oh the link above doesnt work?

The link is valid, but there is an extra . at the end after the .html  Here is the link without the extra period.

This thread saved me trying to find time to get to the store and having to go without my phone until I could.  I would have been highly peeved if I'd gone and found out I could have fixed it myself!
