I agree with yourmom. Even though the N1 (Nexus One) has a bigger screen...it doesn't have the keyboard...and I LOVE my slide out keyboard!!

N1 would have to with a slide out keyboard with a decent setup....AMOLED, and same big screen with better battery life for me to switch...if I do switch it would be because I found a good buyer to buy the moment for the 180 dollars I spent!

The screen resolution on the Moment and Hero are the same.

ya Z and the 3.2 inch is the same, but the moment is much Clearer and looks bigger than the hero screen to me, sure that has something to do with Amoled and not QVGA

Correct.  It has everything to do with AMOLED.  HVGA is the resolution of the screen, ie 480X320.  QVGA is 320X240.

Ok so now the resolutions are different, or the same, just the type of "screen" sorry, trying to understand between Amoled and HVGA

Dude.  HVGA describes the resolution of the screen.

QVGA = 240X320
HVGA = 320X480 (Moment, Hero)
VGA   = 640X480
etc.

AMOLED is the type of lcd screen.

And all AMOLED will change is the color brightness/vibrant/and maybe even MORE colors. Which COULD technically make the screen look more clear. It also may be the type of plastic HTC used for their outside plastic over the screen.

Thank you Z i understand now, but either way the moment has a better and clearer screen and this comes from someone that used the hero for 2 months before switching to the moment.

AMOLED is Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode

essentially think of those tiny little diodes in LED's printed out VERY tiny in a matrix across a flat surface... each one emitting a specific color and light... no need for backlighting.

Backlit LCD's will probably never be as bright as AMOLED and other self-emitting technologies.
