Now I'm curious about the live wallpapers.  In Calkulons ROM, I installed a seperate, small file for 2.1 live wallpapers.  I thought there would be some included with Noobnl's ROM but, the only live wallpaper was the live map wallpaper.  My question is, can I install the 2.1 live wallpaper file again, and if so, do I need to "install from SD card" while in recovery mode?  Thanks!   Smiley     UPDATE - I may have figured this one out.  I think that maybe the additional live wallpapers were part of Calkulons ROM and just aren't included in Noobnl's ROM.  If thats the case, where would I find more, specifically the N1 live wallpaper that everyone likes?

Live wallpapers 2.1 is an app, just like anything else you download from the Market.  Once you've got the main app installed, then you goto the Market and search "live wallpapers" and take your pic.  I've mostly been using the fishtank, but the older 1.5 version is better and more colorful than the newest 1.6, so if you want it, I'll see how I can get it to you.  There are TONS of live wallpapers, you just need to find one now.  AFAIK you can't run two ROM's, so you keep referencing Caulkin but that stuff should be long gone now.

Here ya go Kenny.  I sent you this in your PM as well, but for the sake of others Smiley I'm posting it here as well.  The only annoying thing about running the older version is that everytime you goto the Market, it's going to tell you there is an update for this.  Don't do it since the publisher made the more colorful version a paid item now, so just stick with this one.  Enjoy and everyone have a great 4th.

Here is the newest version of noobs rom:

http://forum.sdx-developers.com/roms/noobnl's-dd10-rom/?topicseen

You need to flash with the sprint tool on you computer first then apply the zip in recovery.  Here is a more detailed guide. You can skip the part about installing root V7 because Noob's and just about every other rom includes root.

Right just download from the first link and place on your sd card.  Then follow the rest of the directions in the second link.

Exactly Wink  I learned a fair amount here, but going over there was like going from high school to college overnight.  Blame Noobnl since he came here posting his ROM's, before that I never even knew about that site.

I see the Sprint Navigator missing after installing this.  I use this app as a backup GPS.  I have my old phone backed up but I cant find the apk file(s) for this to restore it.  Any hints?

Thanks for the hack! Grin  Works great!

New to the site, new to rooting and flashing.  I follwoed the great videos Tecnica made to root my Moment, then flashed it with noobnl's 1.8.22, which according to SDX was the most stable version.  It seems to work great, faster (which was my main problem), and the bluetooth works much better with my car (yay!)  I do have two problems:

1. I keep getting a system update prompt : MR4 DJ07 System Update notification.  I am guessing this is a sprint update and should not do it.  But should instead use the update tool and certain .tar file to correct this.  Yes?  If so, which one and where could I find it.

2. The Market is not reachable, it says "server error".  Now I saw some posts that other people said they had the same problem after rooting and that it was on Google's side, but it had been 8 hours since it was unreachable, so I am concerned I fudged something up.

Any help would be great!
